I've done it! I've finally made a ColourPop order! I've been wanting to try them forever! I'm so obsessed I have even written a whole blog post about my ColourPop wishlist! I'm so psych to finally have some ColourPop to play with! So let's get into what I ordered!
The first thing I want to talk about is the Super Shock Shadows! I apparently cannot read product descriptions because I was very presently surprised when I swatched them and found that these shadows are creme! I had no idea. Low and behold the product description says "creme-powder" I'm actually really happy about it. I don't have any creme shadows in my collection. I'm already so excited to buy some more of these!
I really like the formula. Creme powder is a perfect description of these shadows! They are smooth and creamy but once applied the look and feel like powder! I can't wait to try them out! I'm going to create a look with these 3 and give them a good testing.
Anyway, on to the shades I purchased. The first one I want to share is the shade Paradox which I have been coveting and lusting after for the longest time. I am a sucker for mauves and maroons and berry reds in general. I saw a swatch of Paradox on Emmy's Instagram and had to have it! Many months later it's finally mine!
I'm so obsessed with this colour! It's so pretty! But like I said I'm a sucker for reds and berries. It was everything I hoped it would be!
I also got the shade, Beverly. It is a limited edition shade that I saw during my wishlist hunting. It's currently on sale so I had to snatch it up! It's a deep berry with brown undertones. I think it goes really well with Paradox. I can't wait to see them on the eyes together!
The last shade I got was Crenshaw. It's like a cocoa chestnut sort of warm brown. This one too is limited edition. It was on sale too and I scooped it up for $4! I really love the colour! It's warm and cosy! It reminds me of Cafe from the Lorac Pro To Go palette.
These shadows are so pretty and I'm so excited that they turned out to be creme! That really shouldn't have been a surprise but I can't read product descriptions properly apparently. Anyway, look how beautiful theses swatches are!
I was so excited to try the new Lux Lipstick! I got the shade Hello Stranger because I'm addicted to berries. I watched a lot of videos about these lipsticks before I decided what colour I wanted it. Hello Stranger is such a pretty colour.
This rose gold packaging is so beautiful! I can't believe how beautiful the ColourPop packing is! It's such an affordable brand! ColourPop is coming for the drugstore brands! This lipstick was only $7 for heaven's sake! ColourPop is winning packing game for sure.
I mean have you ever seen an imprinted lipstick under $16? Amazing. Also, this colour is amazing! Look how freaking pretty! I'm not the biggest fan of the creamy matte formula but I can matte it down with blotting. The colour is so beautiful!
I wouldn't be me if I didn't get more than one lippie when trying a new brand. I actually got 3 more. I got 2 of the Liquid Lipsticks and a Lippie Stix. For the Liquid Lipsticks, I got the shade Snowfleek and Avenue. I'm slowly building my liquid lipstick collection and I'm loving it!
I love the shades I choose! Unsurprisingly they are red and berry shades. I'm just not about those nudes and pinks. I like bold lips. Here are the swatches, Avenue is on the left and Snowfleek is on the right.
I also got a Lippie Stix in Jingle Ladies. And it is you guessed, a berry. I love the colour! It's more purple than anything else in my collection! I love it!
The swatch photos came out lighter than it actually is. I hate when that happens. It's such a beautiful colour and it didn't translate well on camera. I'll have to try and get a better swatch for my review.
