Origins RitualiTea Mind Over Maté Invigorating Cleansing Body Mask
First off I want to say a big thank you to Origins for sending me this body scrub. I haven't marked this as a press sample because they did not send it for me to review or write a post on. I tweeted that I really wanted to try their brand and they sent over a few samples for me to try.
I still wanted to write a little post for you guys to tell you my thoughts. I was originally going to do a review but I feel like you can't review a skincare product until you have used it for a few months, so I decided to do a first impressions for you guys.
I have been using this scrub for a month. I switched it out for my current scrub and use it once a week/bi-weekly in the shower.
The first thing I noticed about this scrub is how nice it smells. It has orange and lemon peel oils in it so it has a very nice strong citrus smell.
It exfoliates well without being harsh. I have tried many exfoliating scrubs in the pass and a ton of them have made my skin turn red. I have very sensitive skin and this scrub didn't bother me at all.
It left my skin feeling soft and clean. I didn't feel like there was a residue or soap left on my skin as I have felt with other products.
This scrub is a little thick but thins out with a little water and actually lathers pretty well. I didn't expect it to really lather but it does create some bubbles.
Sometimes when I use other scrubs it feels like little bits of sand or whatever was in it to exfoliate the skin sticks to my skin and I find little pieces of sand for the rest of the day but I didn't have that problem with this scrub.
I really love how the orange smell says on the skin all day. I get out of the shower smelling like orange and lemon. I love it so much!
I really like this scrub and I think it may become a new favourite in my skincare routine! I will probably write a review when I empty this bottle and will let you know it that review how my skin is and if I'll be buying a new bottle.
